Windows 10: Mikrofon Airpods Windows 10?

Hello, everyone,

i bought Apple AirPods Generation 2, which actually work perfectly on my mobile phone and on my PC (Windows 10).

The only problem I have is that I can use the AirPods as a microphone on my PC, but then both the headphones and the microphone quality is incredibly bad (sounds tinny or as bad as a hands-free car kit).

I have now already read on the Internet that this is the case with many people and that nothing can be done about it.

Does anyone perhaps still know a solution to the problem, that is:

Does anyone know how I can use the Airpods under Windows 10 with good audio and microphone quality? (After all, on my cell phone I have both...)

Thank you for replying.



I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Press Windows Logo key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand, Human Interface Devices.
   
3. Look for AirPods Audio/Video Remote Control HID and
   AirPods Hands-Free Call Control HID, right click on each entry and select
   Properties.
   
4. Go to the Power Management Tab, clear the checkbox for
   Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
   
5. Also, repeat step 4 for Bluetooth Low Energy GATT compliant HID.
   
6. Click on OK.
