Windows 10: Minecraft and Microsoft sign in

I am a playstation 4 user and when i go to sign into my microsoft account on minecraft it will say connecting for a breif second and then gives me an error. How can i fix this if i can see that the skin im wearing is the same skin that is linked to my microsoft account but it says im not signed in?

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 installed on the PC? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
• Are you facing this sign in issue with any other app?

• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?
  

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform the steps sequentially and check if you are able to access Minecraft Windows 10 edition.



Step 1: Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter: Select the
Start button, and then select Settings>Update & Security
> Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.



Step 2: Reset App

1. Press Windows + I key to open Windows
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select
   Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Scroll and look for the Minecraft app.
   
4. Select the app and click on Advanced option.
   
5. Click on Reset and once you see a tick mark, then relaunch and check.

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server
