Windows 10: Minecraft does not work

so i have downloaded minecraft on my computer , it was still working like 3 days ago but it suddenly stopped , every time I press on Minecraft it just comes up with a grey tab and that's it, I tried deleting it and then installing it back in but it still doesn't work , my drivers are all up to date I don't know what to do .

I would like to inform you that, it is a java error and I would suggest you to reinstall java application and check, if it works. Let’s try to follow the steps in the link below.

I would also recommend you to try reinstalling the game and also run the game in the compatibility mode.

• What is the Windows 10 Version and Build installed? (Type winver
  in Windows search/Run command)
• Are you signing in with the same Microsoft Account, you used at the time of purchase?
• What is the complete error message are you receiving while login?

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform these steps and check if the issue persists.



Step 1: Reset the app.

1. Press Windows + I key to open Windows
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select
   Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Scroll and look for the Minecraft app.
   
4. Select the app and click on Advanced option.
   
5. Click on Reset and once you see a tick mark, then relaunch and check.
