Windows 10: minecraft for windows 10 put me in trial mode instead of actual game

i bought a gift card for java edition and gave me Minecraft for windows 10 edition code for a free copy of the game because i got this before October 19th 2018 and i used it today on January 7th 2019 and i used it and booted it up and when the screen came up it showed the trial version so i got off and reedeem the code again since i already used it i couldn't again so i go back on and same thing happen like last time what is the problem?

Hey there, my two boys have minecraft xbox one edition includes favourite packs. They have had it since xmas no problems. Just lately instead of going into their worlds it keeps asking them to play a trial game? Anybody know how to get past this as it asks
to launch full game and pay £19.99
