Windows 10: Minecraft is saying my driver is outdated.

When ever I open Minecraft, even uninstalling and reinstalling it always says "Your computers graphics have a new update available. Worlds may have some issues and bugs without the update. Please install it to enjoy Minecraft at its fullest, read more at Http://aka.ms/ray-tracing-FAQ".


When I first installed the game it did not display the warning, but when I reinstalled it to do VR with my Oculus rift S it began showing the message.


I have a AMD Ryzen 4000 series, And I have a GeForce Gtx 1660 Ti.


I reinstalled my driver and restarted my computer and it still shows the message.


I check for updates and it says I have the current version of my driver.


I Deleted Minecraft about 5 times and it still shows the message.


I even directed my graphics cards toward Minecraft and it STILL shows the message. I go to the link as said in the message and its about as useless as an outdated tutorial.


I know its not my driver, it has to be Minecraft because with my other games such as CS:GO it runs and even reads the graphics cards.

If anyone knows what to do please help me!

windows 10 mcpc drivers outdated

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

I would suggest you download latest drivers from Manufacturer's Website.

Follow the steps to update the drivers:

• Press Windows key + X key and click on
  Device Manager.
• Expand respective driver. (The driver which was stated to be outdated.)
• Right-click on the driver and
  select Uninstall.
• Now, go to the Manufacturer's Website and download the latest driver.
• Once the download is complete, run the setup file and install the software.
• Follow on-screen instructions.
• Restart the computer and check

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server
