Windows 10: Minecraft launcher and other Xbox Apps Not loading

I tried launching the Minecraft Launcher but the launcher would never load. I was able to launch all other applications Microsoft and not apart from windows defender protection historyIt would crash when opened and when I tried googling the answer, it said to just change the security permissions of the folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Scans\History\Service and C:\ProgramData\Microsoft and after doing this, I am unable to launch the Xbox App nor the Minecraft Launcher. All other applications seem to be unaffected. How am I able to fix this so I am able to launch Xbox apps?

Issue signing into Microsoft account on Xbox app and Minecraft launcher

Your account can be logged in on the official website and Microsoft Store, which means that it is completely fine to log in to the service and account.

You can flow these steps to try solve the issue:

1. Click search on the taskbar, type "services", and click to open the Service App in the search results.
   
2. Search for the services starting with Xbox in the Service list, and make sure they are all enabled.
   
3. Then, please reopen the Xbox app and the Minecraft launcher, and click Login to see if you can enter the account password to log in successfully.

Unable to install Minecraft Java and Minecraft Launcher

You can try the following steps and see whether it helps. These steps should help you perform a clean install of Minecraft.

- Uninstall the Minecraft launcher from the Settings.

- Deleted all files located at C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\([Your User Name] is the part you should replace with your user name.)

- Uninstall the Xbox App (Find it in add or remove programs setting and uninstall) and reinstall it again.

- Download the launcher and try installing Minecraft Java Edition.

 

Problem with the minecraft launcher.

There are many reasons why you can't log in to Minecraft Launcher, but all of them are due to Microsoft Store and related services. I will provide several methods to try to solve this problem, please refer to the following steps for operation:

• Clear the cache on Microsoft Store.
  

1. Press the Windows logo key + R, type wsreset.exe, and select OK.
   
2. After a few seconds a blank command prompt window will appear, which will disappear after about ten seconds and the Microsoft Store will open automatically.This means the cache was cleared successfully.
   

• Make sure you're using the Microsoft Store Install Service.
  

1. Services.msc can be found by pressing Windows Key + S and typing services.msc.
   
2. Locate and double-click the Microsoft Store Install Service; if the status is Running, right-click it and select Restart.
   
3. Change it to Automatic if it's disabled, then click Start and OK.
   

• Reinstall the Microsoft Store app
  

1. Press Windows key + X
   
   Click and Run Windows PowerShell(run as Administrator)Copy and paste the command below then hit Enter:
   
   

• Reinstall the Minecraft Launcher
  

1. Click Start >Settings >Apps，find "Minecraft Launcher" in all apps.
   
2. Click on the "Minecraft Launcher" Advanced options >Uninstall the application.
   
3. Open the Microsoft Store, search for "Minecraft Launcher", download and install it again, and log in to your account to see if it works.
