Windows 10: Minecraft log in issues

I complained to minecraft a week ago still awaiting email response...


My 11yro son has played on Minecraft xbox edition for a few years now, he had a laptop for Christmas and with birthday money brought Java minecraft for his laptop.


Signed in to Microsoft account on minecraft offical page, found windows edition download, payment went through, downloaded Java, downloaded the purchased minecraft.

Everything was fine and easy.

Went to sign in with same windows account on application, says incorrect password! Checked spelling, showed password, email/gametag 100% correct... still incorrect password?!

Went back onto minecraft online, signed out... tried to sign in on game, still incorrect password... signed back in on website to check 100% correct details and it signed in, no problem? Is the app faulty? How do I get in contact with minecraft? If they dont email back today or tomorrow I will ring Microsoft and complain that end! I have a gutted 10yro that cant pay and wasted birthday money!

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server
