Windows 10: Minecraft on windows 10

Over the past week i have noticed that Minecraft has been lagging for me. The type of lag i am experiencing is this, when i open or play the games on my computer the game will freeze every 3-5 seconds. I have tried lowering the render distance and trouble shooting but nothing seems to help. This has only started to occur over the past week but i can't seem to think of anything i have changed recently on my computer other than switching out of S mode, which i'm sure has nothing to do with it. I have a surface go which i only got 6 months ago and it has alot of storage and ram left on it, i do not run any applications which would significantly slow down my computer so i really have no clue what the issue is that is causing this lag.

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server
