Windows 10: Minecraft Sign In Problems

I purchased Minecraft almost a month ago when I bought a brand new pc. I haven't used my xbox game pass that I've been paying for as well as the game itself because it won't let me login to my Microsoft account. When I click sign in, it brings me to a portal giving me two options. One is to sign in Microsoft account and the other has the option to leave on device. I click on sign in, and without giving any login details it just says failed to login. I have do not have any trouble signing into my Microsoft account, I only have problems on Minecraft. It simply doesn't give me the chance to put in my credentials and automatically says failed to login. Its getting frustrating to the point I want my damn money back!

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

Step 1: Reset the app.

1. Press Windows + I key to open Windows
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select
   Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Scroll and look for the Minecraft app.
   
4. Select the app and click on Advanced option.
   
5. Click on Reset and once you see a tick mark, then relaunch and check.

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 installed on the PC? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
• Are you facing this sign in issue with any other app?

• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?
  

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform the steps sequentially and check if you are able to access Minecraft Windows 10 edition.



Step 1: Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter: Select the
Start button, and then select Settings>Update & Security
> Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.



Step 2: Reset App
