Windows 10: MInecraft Update Loop.

Hello,

I have a problem I've had for the past week or so that when I try to join my friends game, it says outdated client. so I went to the Microsoft Store and began the update fro Minecraft Windows 10 edition. It would say "Downloading Minecraft for Windows 10- 1.52MB" It will then say Installing, then Completed, and then repeat the loop and begin Downloading again. I've seen many threads relating to this and I can't find a solution

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

There is a complete step by step available, if you have any issues ...

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

 

Minecraft win10 edition auto update

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below, to disable automatic updates for Minecraft.

Steps:-

1. On the Start screen, select Microsoft Store to open the Store.
2. Select the account menu (next to the search box), then select Settings.
3. Under App updates, set Update apps automatically to
   NO.

looping failed update downloads in Minecraft

have been updating my purchases in the minecraft store but suddenly I ended up in a loop they fail to download then tries o resume only to fail again. I have shut the game down a restated it to have it contine. then I restarted the computer, still the
same. it's an endless loop with no way out.
