Windows 10: Minecraft Windows 10 already redeemed and installed once on old laptop, but it doesn't...

Hi all! A few years back I redeemed Minecraft for Windows 10 on my laptop, but after my laptop got reformatted I didn't install it again for some time. Lately however I tried to install it again only to find out that I need to buy it again. I looked around and got the code again but couldn't find it now, I do have a screen capture of the time I tried to redeem it again but when I tried to input it in the redeem bar it said that it is already redeemed which I already knew I just tried it again.

Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance and sorry for the bad English it is not my first language.

Redeem Minecraft Windows 10 code

I own Minecraft PC edition. I tried to redeem Minecraft Windows 10 code and it says it has already been redeemed. Not sure if maybe I did it with my old PC or not, but I own only one working PC and I would like to play the Windows 10 version of Minecraft
on it. How do I fix this? Can I maybe revoke the old code?

Hello,

When Minecraft Windows 10 Edition was first released, I redeemed a code to download the full version of the game because I already had the original base game 'Minecraft'. I installed Minecraft Windows 10 on my old laptop under the Microsoft account I am
still using right now. However, I have since got rid of that laptop and using the 'Devices' tab on my Microsoft Account Info website, I have removed it from my account since it no longer exists.

Despite this, whenever I attempt to use my code to re-install Minecraft Windows 10 Edition on my new PC (using the same account as before), it says "this code has already been redeemed". Although I had previously used it on my old laptop, it does not exist
anymore and my Microsoft account is no longer associated with the laptop. So why won't it let me reinstall the game on my new computer? Can I only install it once and not ever again even if the first installation doesn't exist anymore?

Is there any way I can reinstall it?
