Windows 10: Minecraft Windows 10 Edition crashing

Hello,

For about six months my Minecraft app has been crashing and the frequency of the crashes has been increasing up until now. Minecraft launches into the main menu, lags for a few seconds and will not allow me to click play. After this it freezes my whole computer and I am unable to do anything. If I wait long enough my computer will eventually restart but usually I have to hold the power button until it shuts down. This would happen about 1/3 times I tried to launch the app but I thought it was no big deal yet it still frustrated me. Recently I was playing Minecraft with a friend on a world we had been working on for months. Suddenly as we were playing, Minecraft started lagging and eventually kicked my friend off the server and my screen froze. Minecraft shut down after about 10 minutes of waiting for it to respond again. When I logged back into Minecraft, that world was totally gone! That was the last straw! My friends and I had been working on this world for months now and we were devastated to have lost it. I searched on hp support and Microsoft support but it sounds like nobody has the exact same problem as me. The most similar problem I found showed several ways to fix the crashing. Uninstall java then reinstall java, I did that and it did not work. I also tried resetting the app and that failed too. I uninstalled Minecraft and reinstalled it again and it did not help. Then I saw that many people disabled their graphics device in the device manager, I did that and my problem got worse. Minecraft crashed almost every time I tried to launch it. Then through another support question, many people were commenting that I should update my graphics device on my computer, I tried that and an error occurred. So I followed another "fix" that said uninstall this device then reinstall it. I did that and now I am unable to reinstall the device. Minecraft will not start at all, and it logs me out of my xbox account each time I try to get on it. At this point, I have no idea what else to try. I have no idea what made Minecraft start crashing in the first place. It worked perfectly in my first six months of use. My computer is only one year old so I would be really upset if it had something to do with its age. Please help me fix Minecraft, I know I cannot get my favorite world back but I would like to use the app that I payed for. also if anyone knows why I am unable to reinstall my graphics device, that would also be helpful.

If you already played Minecraft from its previous PC or Mac version (running Java), you will be eligible to download Minecraft: Windows 10 edition for free. Normally, you'll be able to download the full version right after you redeem the Minecraft: Windows
10 Beta code to your Windows 10 computer. In your case, there's a possibility it doesn't detect the beta code that you redeemed. We recommend that you reset the Windows Store to clear the store cache on your computer by performing the following steps:

• Press  Windows key + X on your keyboard.
