Windows 10: Minecraft Windows 10 is forcing me to buy it again.

I redeemed Windows 10 edition for free because of my Java Account, I've been playing bedrock and java regularly and have a lot of worlds on Bedrock for the past like 6 months. I opened up Bedrock edition today and it only tells me to "buy the full game" And everytime I try signing in it just says buy the full game. I went into the microsoft store and it says I own the game and can open it but whenever I do it just says that I need to buy it. This is very infuriating and I don't know anything about tech so I have no idea what to do about this. Please help.

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

I heard that Minecraft is getting a separate release for Windows 10 based on pocket edition and that will cost $10 from Windows store.

So if I buy Minecraft Win 10 version, would I get access to the Java vesion of minecraft??

I actually had a client call yesterday with an email problem. when I tried walking him through some steps, he says "Yeah, I don't see that there, but I think it's because it's updated to windows 10. It did that a few weeks ago. I came back in on Monday, and it said Welcome to Windows 10"..... I think I'd throw the computer out the window.
