Windows 10: Minecraft Windows 10 not playing on laptop

hi there,

I have shared Minecraft with my two boys on my Family and they can both play on my desktop, but for some reason Minecraft will not load on my laptop it used to work fine!. I had this issue once before on the laptop before I used family when it worked fine then randomly stopped loading correctly. It was a while ago now and in the end I had to get Microsoft to refund me for Minecraft as it wasn't working and repurchase it before it would work!! I don't want to have to do that again.


Any ideas why it would randomly stop working? I haven't changed any programs or updated anything on the laptop and everything else seems to be working fine. Minecraft shows the MOJANG load screen for maybe up to ten seconds then just cuts out back to main desktop.

Minecraft useability

My daughter really wants to play Minecraft.

Situation: she has her own laptop and Microsoft account. And I expect to have an Xbox One soon.

• Can I purchase Minecraft games for her Microsoft account in a way that she can play it on her laptop and later on she can continue to play it on the Xbox under her account?
• Can I purchase Minecraft on the family account and share it for free among my family so everyone (my son, daughter, my wife, me) can play it on the Windows 10 laptops and XBox One?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup
