Windows 10: Minecraft windows 10 option not appearing

Hi,


So, recently i went to the official minecraft website to try and download minecraft. It let me log in to my old account, and showed me download options for the game. When i went to download the game for windows, it worked and was installed onto my computer. However, when i clicked play, it would stop around the same spot every time.

After multiple tries, i decided to give up. However, i realized i was downloading minecraft for windows, not windows 10. Will this make a difference? IS there another problem, and if it does make a difference How do i download for windows ten without buying the game again? Thank you!

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?


It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

 

Windows 10 download speed issues

Try this method:

• First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
• locate and select “Update and Security“.
• in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
• In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
• Turn off Updates from more than one place.

Your system will not work as a seeder for other Windows 10 users. It will give sudden boast to your Slow internet speed.
