    Minecraft windows 10 purchase problem


    Hi all,

    Added some $ to my 11yo's microsoft account so he could buy a world in Minecraft Windows 10. He completed the purchase (I have the receipt and it shows up in his purchases in Microsoft Store) but in the game itself I get a message saying it can't connect to the microsoft store and to check my internet connection (which is working fine.)


    Tried a few suggestions from the forums, including a reset of minecraft in which I forgot to back up his worlds.


    So, now his pocket money is gone, his worlds are gone and he can't play what he has paid for.


    Help!

    It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

    It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server
