Windows 10: Minecraft Windows 10 Redeem Code already used despite not knowing it's existence until today.

Hi, so my friend told me that if I owned the old Java version of Minecraft I was sent a code to get the bedrock version of Minecraft for Windows 10. So I logged on to my Mojang account an found out that the Code was already redeemed on September 20th 2018. I went on to my only Microsoft account and looked at my order history, and I did not see any sign of me purchasing or redeeming Minecraft at that time. Is there any way this can be resolved or do I just have to bite the bullet and buy another copy for my pc?

Re-redeem Minecraft Windows 10 code

Hello,

When Minecraft Windows 10 Edition was first released, I redeemed a code to download the full version of the game because I already had the original base game 'Minecraft'. I installed Minecraft Windows 10 on my old laptop under the Microsoft account I am
still using right now. However, I have since got rid of that laptop and using the 'Devices' tab on my Microsoft Account Info website, I have removed it from my account since it no longer exists.

Despite this, whenever I attempt to use my code to re-install Minecraft Windows 10 Edition on my new PC (using the same account as before), it says "this code has already been redeemed". Although I had previously used it on my old laptop, it does not exist
anymore and my Microsoft account is no longer associated with the laptop. So why won't it let me reinstall the game on my new computer? Can I only install it once and not ever again even if the first installation doesn't exist anymore?

Is there any way I can reinstall it?

Are you sure you're logging into the Windows Store with the account that you redeemed the code to?

• If you login to Mojang Account please look under "Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta" and check to make sure that the code is marked as claimed. You can make sure it is by checking the date that it was redeemed on.

• If the item is not listed, you should contact Mojang support and they will assist you on the issue.

• If it is listed, then that means you successfully redeemed the code to a Microsoft account. When you did so, you were asked to login to a Microsoft account. This was the account that you redeemed the code to.

• Please go over to https://account.microsoft.com/ and check under the "Recent purchaces" header and check if "Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta" is listed. If it is not, you are using the wrong Microsoft account.

• If you're not sure which account you used, you should contact Xbox support (for Step 1, use "Xbox on Windows 10"; for Step 2 under Store select "Purchase verification"; and you should be able to call/chat with Xbox support) and let them know you are unsure
  which account you redeemed the code to.
