Windows 10: Minecraft Won't Update

Hi, so I just downloaded Minecraft on Windows 10 for the first time and I tried joining a server to play with some friends. It wouldn't let me join the server and after some research I discovered that it's because I'm on version 1.14.

I have gone to the Microsoft Store and clicked on the 3 dots then clicked "downloads and updates" then clicked "get updates." Windows is also fully updated on my computer it's a new computer by the way so it's not outdated.

In the download and updates section of the Microsoft store it says I am on version 1.14.3002.0 and it is saying that I "have the latest updates."


Can someone please help?

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

minecraft launcher won`t launch

when i launch minecraft launcer it comes up that it`s updating java runtime environment, and then it just says "Unable to update Minecraft Runtime Environment".
