Windows 10: minimized skype is acting weird

When I restore a minimized Skype window, for some unknown reason Skype redraws the entire contents of the window and ditches any unsent text in the input boxes.

Is there a fix to it?

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

You may change the required settings from the below suggested steps.

Method 1:

Click on Start > Type Skype >
Right click on it > Open file location > Click on
Run tab > Select Normal Window from the list of options to get the desired settings.

Method 2:

1. Launch the Skype application.
   
2. Click on the drop down next to Gear Icon.
   
3. Click on Tools > Options > Check the box with the option
   Minimize to the notification area Instead of the task bar.

Asus R510LN Ethernet/Wireless acting weird

Every browser is at stock settings. Its like as soon as my laptop is on more than 6 hours it acts weird that dns dont work but then skype and etc still works.. Thats weird. Both wifi and ethernet other devices still have internet access. Even reboot wont solve it.

 

S.I.M. Error and Skype is acting weird

[ These are 2 largely overlapping and possibly (un)related questions ]

A few months ago I got the notification ''S.I.M. Error'' in my Nokia Lumia 920 running a Royal Royal Dutch Post, Telephone & Telegraph Netherlands S.I.M. Card of Albert Heijn, I've never had an issue with the Phone up until out of nowhere it said ''no S.I.M.
Card'', then after restarting the Phone and opening the micro-S.I.M. with 5 or 6 ((half-)broken) tooth-picks it started to function (some of it was left behind in my Phone) :-(

After a while I got that 1 more time, whenever I used Skype it didn't have problems but since the 25th when I called my ex-girlfriend for an hour with video-call it started automatically going on stand-by and flashing, going on,. going off almost all the
time and when I later called someone else it started flashin (voice talk). The first time I got another S.I.M. Error which was easily solved by rebooting my Phone, but since the last update Skype has been acting weird and buggy whenever I get called or call
someone.

Also I get the same call on my Windows P.C. and Windows Phone, and if I say ''no'' on my Phone my P.C. automatically ignores too, but if I say ''yes'' it automatically crashes on my Phone and goes off on my P.C.

¿what can I do to stop this?
