Windows 10: Miracast Connection Issues W10 1909

Hi all,


I can't connect to Miracast. It says connecting for a while and then errors out with "failed to connect".


Used Hardware:

Dell Latitude 5400 with Wifi Chipset Intel AC 9560 160Mhz; Driver Version 21.50.1.1


Microsoft Display Adapter V2.08350

I double checked all Settings and requirements, seems okay. I also made sure all Firewalls are off.


I tried everything the web came up with, but nothing did work.


For further investigation I uploaded the WLAN-AutoCofig Event Log

I would be more than thankfull for every hint to solve this Problem. If any additional Information is needed just ask.

Miracast connectivity issue

Here are the possible reasons why you cannot see the "Connect to a wireless display" button:

• The Display Adapters are having an issue.
  
• The monitor you want to connect wirelessly doesn't support Miracast.
  
• The graphics card installed on your laptop doesn't support Miracast.
  

Based on the information you've provided, the monitor you want to connect doesn't support Miracast. We suggest getting a new monitor that supports Miracast.

W10 + Miracast

My W10 PC can not connect to my Miracast, but my W10 Phone can. I have no problems with Chromecast.

It seems to be a problem I share with many oters!

Let me suggest you to contact the manufacturer of Miracast. To contact the manufacturer, please follow the steps below:

• The name of the OEM + “contact information”
• The name of the OEM + “PC support”
