Windows 10: Missing Defender icon after update # KB4494441 05/2019

After this update KB4494441 05/2019 both my laptops are not showing anymore the Defender icon in the notification area.

The first I was able to anchor the Defender Icon in the taskbar and also update daily, but no icon in the notification area.

The second one is in a much worst situation, the defender antivirus is not active at all, I am not able to update and every time I press the button to correct the situation I get the following message:

"your IT administrator is limiting the access to some areas of this app"

wow!!! what's happening, both computers are personal.

I try already the "register" and other old procedures to get it back with no avail.

I hope the next update they will correct this, any help much appreciated.

Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

missing icons in start menu

Windows Defender definition updates ...

Is there a problem with the Defender updates? As I keep running the update app and there have been no updates today (01/05/2019). The last update was yesterday (30/04/2019) it was -
