Windows 10: Missing files for installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X64 Minimum Runtime

I am attempting to install OBS and the installer says I am missing a runtime component. After downloading the VC_redist.x64, it will attempt to install, and will fail when it is unable to find "C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{F1B0FB3A-E0EA-47A6-9383-3650655403B0}v14.16.27024\packages\vcRuntimeMinimum_amd64\"I would have assumed that anything it needed would have come with the installer, and when ran on my laptop, it installed fine with the same file.after canceling, it said it was unable to uninstall the previous version of 14.28.29325.I can't find it yet, but can i manually remove this? or

Visual C++ 2015-2019 x64 failure to install

I've been trying to install Visual C++ 2015-2019 x64 for some time now but every time I try no matter what I do I get the error the older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 x64 minimum runtime 14.24.28127 can not be removed

I also get told that it can't find the path to vc_runtimeMinimum_x64.msi again this is for visual c++ 2019 x64 part.

 

Trouble installing latest x64 version of MS Visual C++ redist

I've tried to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019. The x64 version will not install. two error messages are thrown up. Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 x64 Minimum Runtime 14.16.27024 is needed and missing and invites
me to find the software on a CD which I don't have.. Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 x64 Minimum Runtime 14.27.29016 cannot be removed. (However the latter does not appear in Apps). Any advice on how to resolve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Firstly, I found no changes were needed regarding your first paragraph on virtual memory.
The checkbox beside: ‘Automatically manage paging file size for all drives’ was already ticked.

Next, I successfully installed x86: vc redist.x86.exe but could not install x64: vc redist.v64.exe.



The first error window was headed: Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X64 Minimum Runtime – 14.20.27508

The next error window stated: The path ‘C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{03EBF679-E886-38AD-8E70-28658449F7F9}v14.14.26429\packages\vcRuntimeMinimum_amd64\vc_runtime cannot be found.
Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package ‘vc_runtimeMinimum_x64.msi’ in a folder from which you can install the product Microsoft Visual C++2017 x64 Minimum Runtime – 14.14.26429.

{03EBF679-E886-38AD-8E70-28658449F7F9}v14.14.26429 does not appear in the list in ProgramData/Package Cache on my computer.

The last error window that appeared stated: ‘The older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X64 Minimum Runtime – 14.20.27508 cannot be removed’

I retried installing x64: vc redist.v64.exe in Clean Boot mode but had the same error messages.



I have not attempted to go any further in your list of recommended actions.
Any ideas please?
