I am trying to follow these instructions to troubleshoot PS3 controller driver issues: Disable driver signature enforcement [Windows Guide]

    However, I hit a roadblock.

I installed the Group Policy Editor enabler using the .bat file, and then I oped gpedit.msc

I navigated to Administrative Templates, System, and then to Driver Installation.

However, in "Driver installation", "Code signing for device drivers"is nonexistent in "Driver installation"

Does anybody know what the problem could be?

    :)

Administrative template missing in group policy editor.

I have Windows 10 version 1909 (OS Build 18363.1171).I want to speed up the loading of thumbnails in the file explorer for pdf files. I went to this article and it lists the steps that involve editing the group policy. https://www.guidingtech.com/speed-up-thumbnail-loading-windows-10/

Unfortunately, I am not getting the administrative template in my group policy editor and cannot proceed.

I am the sole user of my laptop with admin privileges. Please advise.

I tried installing admin templates from this link but it didn't solve my issue.

  3. group policy editor

    Hi Tony,

Group Policy Editor in Windows is a tool to help you manage policy settings. Here's how you can access the Local Group Policy Editor:

    • Press Win+R to open Run.
    • Type gpedit.msc, and then click OK.

Let us know how else we can help.

    missing components group policy editor

I've been trying to enable Reopen last browsing session. I have a brand new Win 10 home laptop. I've finally got group policy editor installed and some options/folders are missing. local computer policy/administrative templates/windows components/internet
explorer/internet control panel . This folder only contains folders for security page and advanced page. I need a folder labeled "General Page" to enable Reopen last browsing session. I have the same list under internet control panel in the user configuration
menu. How do I add folders (and their contents) that are missing from the group policy editor?
