    Oi!
    I had problems with my power options, in both Windows 8.1 as well as Windows 10 (clean install). I just have the balansed power mode set, but I would like to have performance enabled. Do you guys know of any way of enabling it? Here's a screenshot of my power options:

    I only have one power plan: Balanced.

    I am on Choose or customize a power plan. I only see
    Change plan settings.

    I went to cmd and restored default schemes, too.

    Any other ideas?

    Just make up your own power profile. This happens when ACPI for the motherboard is not installed.

    Thats not possible. All performance related options are gone!

    The fact you had problems in 8.1 makes me think you need to either change some BIOS settings or install a motherboard specific driver from the manufacturer rather than the generic Windows ones.

    Some drivers for various ASUS boards don't get installed until you install some of their motherboard 'management' type apps that you think you don't need/want.

    I AM completly sure, it's the UEFI. The question is how to fix it? My tablet is a very generic one and finding a motherboard driver is like finding a Microsoft-made linux distro. By the way, the problem was present out-of-the-box.

    Missing power options

    Oops, I didn't notice it was a tablet.

    There are a couple of registry hacks you can try.

    First, go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power

    Change CsEnabled from 1 to 0 and reboot.

    If this gives you no joy then you can show individual power options by adding a 32bit DWORD value with the name 'Attributes' and a value of '2' to any of the keys under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\

    I already tried adding diffrent values seperatly, but none of them showed up. I can't try your other suggestion as mytablet is curently bricked. I have to wait two weeks to get it replaced. IF i do...
