Missing Task Scheduler and Antimalware Services Executable Freezes my computer.

I have Windows 10 Pro updated to the latest patches.

The Computer starts without a problem.

But, every time I go AFK for like a couple of minutes the Antimalware Services Executable starts using 100% of my CPU for at least 10min. Doesn't matter if I'm AFK in a game or if I'm watching a video... There seems there is no way of pausing it, and me trying to use the computer doesn't stop the scan. I'm presuming it's scanning my computer, not sure why though, I've done a full scan this weekend.

And apparently the only way to disable scan on idle is by using Task Scheduler, but when I search for "task scheduler" in windows it doesn't find it. I've tried to access task scheduler from Windows Administrative Tools and I get an error that C:\ProgramData\Miscrosoft\Windows\StartMenu\Programs\Administrative Tools is unavailable....

Wanted to Restore to previews version but apparently I can't because I've just updated Windows in the last 10days...

    So, what do I do?

    :)

    Antimalware Service Executable

Hello! I’m aware that there’s already numerous questions about this, though unfortunately I was unable to find any that fixed my problem.

I have a HP Pavillion Laptop running Windows 10.

Recently my laptop has been randomly freezing around 30 minutes or so into using it. I checked various things and upon checking task manager noticed the disk column was at 100%. The main culprate for taking up this space was Antimalware Service Executable.
Other things taking up a fairly large amount were: Antimalware Definition Update and the installers for AVG and Avast. Prior to the laptop freezes AVG wanted to restart my computer to switch itself back on (I’d turned it off for a short while) and once back
on these problems began occuring. I considered that it could be the Antimalware Service Executable trying to do something with my antivirus programs but I’m not sure. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
