Windows 10: Missing usb driver

One of my usb ports shows up as unknown device so I looked up how to tell what device that Is and i was told to go into device manager and check the Hardware ID's on the missing device. I did just that and the following things show up in this same order "USB\AMDROOT_HUB31&VID1022&PID43D5&VER0001000000050003, USB\AMDROOT_HUB31&VID1022&PID43D5, And USB\AMDROOT_HUB31". Then I was told to copy and paste the first ID into google and it says it's the AMD USB3.1 Root hub driver that is missing and then it said to download the driver and everything should work fine. I tried downloading the driver from multiple websites and manually installing it through the device manager but it never detects the driver files. I wanted to know where and how I can get this driver because some of my usb ports dont work and I really need to get this fixed.

Method 1: Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your USB. Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter

Method 2.

Try updating the latest USB devices from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the USB drivers:

a. Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.

b. Expand the USB driver.

c. Right-click on the USB and click on Update driver software.

d. Restart the computer and check.

USB composite device "driver error"

Can you send us a screenshot of the error message? We suggest uninstalling and re-installing USB drivers and check if the issue persists. To do that, please follow these steps:

• Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager.
  
• Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
• Right-click on the first USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers, and then click on
  Uninstall to remove it.
• Repeat these steps for the entire USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers.
• Restart the computer. Windows will automatically scan for hardware changes and reinstall all the USB controllers that you uninstalled.

• Are you referring the missing driver as the High Definition Audio device
  with a yellow mark in the screenshot?

This issue could have happened due to corrupted driver files. Let's try reinstalling the driver and check if the driver can be recovered. Follow the below steps to re-install the driver.

• As you are already on the device manager, right-click on High Definition Audio device, and select
  Uninstall.
• Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

If the issue still persist, I suggest you to run the hardware troubleshooter and check if the issue is resolved. Follow the below steps to run the Hardware troubleshooter;

• Type troubleshooting in the search tool.
• Click on Troubleshooting tab.
  
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
  
• Select the Hardware and
  Device options from the list.
• Click Next to run the Hardware
  and Device Troubleshooter.
