Windows 10: Missing Wireless Adapter

Hello

I'm using windows 10 on my asus laptop

one day when i tried to connect to my modem, it connects but with no internet date.

i started a troubleshot and it fixed gateway problem but it doesn't work for me.

i uninstalled my vpn protonvpn and after that i can't even see wifi icon on right side of my taskbar.

i checked my device manager and i found out something named realtek wireless has problem and in its device status is:

Windows is still setting up the class configuration for this device. Code 56
i uninstalled it and then downloaded my laptop wireless driver and when i try to install it, it says:

[SC] OpenService FAILED 1060:


The specified service does not exist as an installed service


now i'm using my phone internet shared by bluetooth.

Please help me solve my probem

Wireless Adapter not working

Method 1:

Step 1: Update network adapter driver from the device manager by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and click on
  Device Manager from the options.
• Expand the Network adapters from the options.
• Right click on the wireless network card and select Update option.
• Restart the computer and check if the changes are effective.

Step 2: If the issue persist, I suggest you to uninstall the network adapter driver from the device manager by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and click on
  Device Manager from the options.
• Expand the Network adapters from the options.
• Right click on the wireless network card and select Uninstall.
• Restart the computer for automatic installation of network adapters and check if the changes are effective.

Windows Wireless Display Adapter-not connecting anymore

Hello Phillip,

Did you notice any changes on your PC prior to the issue? I suggest that you follow the steps outlined in this support article:
Troubleshooting Wireless Display Adapters.

Since updating drivers did not work, in addition, you can try to reset the Wireless Adapter.

1. On the adapter, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
2. When the message " Ready to connect "shows, open the
   Action Center.
3. Select Connect, and in the list of displays, select
   Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter.
