  2. Import photos from SD Card in Photo Gallery using Autoplay

    Hi,

    I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

    • Type Autoplay Settings in the Search box and press Enter.
    • Under Choose Autoplay defaults, select the option required from the drop down list for
      Removable drive and Memory card and close the Window.
    • Restart the system and check for status.
    I suggest you to try importing the photos using photo app as below and check if it helps.

    • In the search box type photo.
    • Click on the photo app.
    • On the right hand top corner click on import option.
    • Before that you need to plug in SD card where you have saved the photos.

    No option to delete photos from SD card following import to photos (or one drive) on windows 10

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    Just to clarify, you would like to delete the photos from the SD card, is that correct?

    If so, please follow the steps below and check again:

    1. Connect the SD card to the computer.

    2. In the autoplay window, select, "view all files and folders".

    3. Locate the folder where the photos are stored.

    4. Right click on the photo and select "delete".

    You can also directly access the SD card by following the steps below:

    1. Press Windows key+ E to open file explorer.

    2. Click "this pc" on the left pane.

    3. Double click the SD card and locate the folder.
