Windows 10: MMC error message when expanding domain in Group Policy Management gpmc.msc.

OS is Windows 11 multi-session.RSAT tools installed.Azure VM built from shared gallery image so has been through sysprep.Every time I open gpmc.msc and start expanding the tree to get to the policies, I get an error when expanding the domain. Doesn't appear to be any issue if I ignore it and carry on, but it is annoying - and others use this machine I built.How do I fix whatever this error is? If it is getting logged, I can't see where.

MMC GROUP POLICY MANAGEMENT COULD NOT

Today Group Policy Management set on the Domain Controller. Now this policy is set for everyone and everywhere. The terrible problem: I can no longer start the Group Policy Management on the Domain Controller as Administrator. MMC COULD NOT CREATE THE SNAP-IN BECAUSE OF CURRENT USER POLICIES Also the regedit can no longer be started. NEED FOR THE MAN HOW CAN I RESTORE ZIT ASAP BACK UP WAS NOT YET AVAILABLE AND SERVERS MUST BE BEFORE MA LIVE

 

Is it possible to set up Group Policy Management Console in Win 10?

GPMC can be installed on Pro or Enterprise platforms, as part of the optional RSAT: Group Policy Management feature on demand. I presume this workstation is part of the domain, so you can browse policies. Group Policy Management in Active Directory | Windows OS Hub

 

Group Policy Management without a domain user account ?

I would like to setup a shared drive by means of Group Policy Management; as there are more options then the native way in Windows to create a shared drive. Although when I simply attempt to run Group Policy Management I get the error; I must log onto the computer with a domain user account ?
