Windows 10: MOBILE HOTSPOT ON LAPTOP

why does my mobile hotpots is disconnecting??? i cannot use it to connect it with my phone

and when i want to turn on my mobile hotspot (which i never turn off) it's buffering for a very long time....

You may change the password of your mobile hotspot so that the person you don't allowed to use it can't connect to it. To assist you better, we'd like to know if you've tried changing the password. Which build and version of Windows 10 are you using?

In the meantime, we suggest that you follow these steps below on how you can change the password of the Mobile hotspot.:

• Open Settings then select Network & Internet.
• Choose Mobile hotspot.
• Under Mobile hotspot section, you can see the current name of the Wi-Fi hotspot and password. To change mobile hotspot name or password or both, click the
  Edit button.
• Enter a new password for the network. Click Save button. Note that the password must be of at least 8 characters.

Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot Not working

Hi,

Your Bluetooth connection may be enabled which prevents you from setting up your mobile hotspot. To have this addressed, we suggest turning off the Bluetooth connection and see if you're able to set up your mobile hotspot. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings and select Devices.
• Click Bluetooth, then toggle it OFF.

Once done, check if you can now turn on your computer's mobile hotspot. Let us know how it goes.

• Confirm which build is currently installed on your Windows 10 laptop. To check, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
• Click OK.

• What is the exact model of your mobile phone?
• Have you tried using another device/phone to connect to your mobile hotspot and check if you can access other apps so we can isolate if the said issue is within your phone itself?
