Windows 10: Mobile hotspot turning off!

Hello, I have a laptop with windows ten on it, and I have been using mobile hotspot for quite awhile to connect other devices to the internet with out any problems. However for the last two days my mobile hotspot keeps turning off for no reason when it used to stay on indefinitely. And it's not because of it not being used because I will be using another device and it will suddenly lose wifi signal, so I go look at my laptop and see mobile hotspot is turned off in notification menu and internet signal menu in the taskbar. I click the hotspot button which turns it on, my device connects but not long after the hotspot turns off again. It's a never ending cycle of turning off, me turning it back on, and it turning off again. It has always stayed on before. The only thing I can think is when windows update installed new updates the other day it screwed the hotspot up because it hasn't been working since the updates were installed. How can I fix it to make it stay on? I have all power saving options off, all my close lid and button options set to do nothing, but yet it still does it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot Not working

Hi,

Your Bluetooth connection may be enabled which prevents you from setting up your mobile hotspot. To have this addressed, we suggest turning off the Bluetooth connection and see if you're able to set up your mobile hotspot. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings and select Devices.
• Click Bluetooth, then toggle it OFF.

Once done, check if you can now turn on your computer's mobile hotspot. Let us know how it goes.

Turn On or Off Mobile Hotspot in Windows 10

Why should I turn on mobile hotspot on phone instead of turning on wifi? Moreover I can't turn on hotspot on mobile if cellular data is not turned on.
