Windows 10: Modern Warfare 2 and 3 dont start

In the Sticky Thread "List of Games working on Windows 10 Technical Preview", people are saying that MW2 and MW3 are working on Win10. But its not working for me.
After I start the game, i get a black screen for a few seconds and then i get back to the desktop without any error message or something like that.
I play many games on Win10 and every game is working flawless.
Only MW2 and MW3 arent working. Both games are using the same engine, so i think the solution should be the same for both games.
I already tried to run the games in compability mode, but this time i get the message "iw5mp.exe has stopped working".
Also i already tried to run as admin. An actual Catalyst Control Center was already included in the Technical Preview.
I installed a few directx patches, but they dont helped me.

When I start "dxdiag" the programm is crashing. After a restart I get a message if i want to skip the Direct3D Test to avoid another crash. After i Click Yes, its shows that Direct3D Accelerate is not available.

Uninstall driver, which is installed by Windows 10.
Use AMD Catalyst 15.x Download (14.502.1002) BETA

But Windows Update will install the driver automatically, so you need to disable automatic updates.

 

So after i uninstalled Catalyst Control Center and the Graphic Card Driver in the Device Manager the game started! Of course it was very laggy, because i had no graphic driver anymore.
After then, i installed the Software you have told me. Now the game wont start again....
So it only starts when the drivers are uninstalled... whats going on hahaha thats strange


EDIT: I noticed that Direct3D is only activated, when the drivers are uninstalled. Maybe the new DirectX 12 is the problem. How can I downgrade to DirectX 11?


SECOND EDIT: FINALY! After trying a bunch of different catalyst software, i found the right one which works.
It was a special one for mobile Graphics. With Windows 7 and 8 i used the standard version but for windows 10 i have to use this one.

I have not tried 2 but MW3 works just fine.

 

COD Ghosts works fine too on build 9926. Haven't tried on build 10041 yet.

Anything new here? I'm trying to get Modern Warfare 3 working on my machine but, I wasn't yet successfull.

Is there any official information about why some games just don't work? Is it Directx12, is it driver incompatibily (e.g. nVidia and AMD drivers) or is it just the fact Windows 10 is in Beta and Microsoft will solve the problem?

 

All of the COD games work fine on my machine. Ghosts, MW2,MW3 and even AV. You have to give them administrator privilege and take ownership of the program files. When Installing use Run as Admin.

 

What's your graphics card? Did you start them via Steam?

Advanced Warfare works fine for me by the way.

Also I got the single player working with a crack I found on the the internet. Which for me is a clear indicator it's an issue with Steam.
