Windows 10: Monitor asleep

Hello community, I need a little help.desk top pc went to sleep while I was typing password. I tried a couple more times. Then I did a restart. Then a hard restart turned it off. Waited a bit and turned it on. Same same so I dove in way over my head and pressed windows and 7 for safe mode. I typed netconcig but the keys were not typing the character assigned. This caused pc to prompt I type A1B2C3. That is where I am stuck at. When I type “A”. 321 is displayed. I am over my head and need help.

  When you say “monitor to sleep when the computer is asleep”, do you want to the monitor to turn off after a specific time?
  

If you want the monitor to turn off after a specific time, you may want to refer the steps mentioned below:

1. 
   Press
   Windows logo key + R, to open Run dialog box.
   
2. 
   Type
   control and click on OK.
   
3. 
   Select
   Large icons from the drop down for View by.
   
4. 
   Click on
   Power Options and click on Choose when to turn off the display.
   
5. 
   Select the desired time for
   Turn off the display.
   
6. 
   Click on
   Save changes.

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.
