Windows 10: Monitor black gap

Discus and support Monitor black gap in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; My screen has a black gap of 2cm on the right hand side of my monitor.     Monitor black gap


    My screen has a black gap of 2cm on the right hand side of my monitor. Could somebody please assist in removing this? Sorry if it is a really simple fix, but thank you for looking at the problem.

    Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

    I understand the you have tried to resolve the issue and tried many steps. I really appreciate your efforts in resolving this issue. As you have mentioned that switching the cables make both the monitor
    work so I believe its not the driver issue. I would suggest you to try connecting another cable and check if the issue persists.

    Note: The steps for Windows 8/8.1 applies to Windows 10.

    Monitor black gap

    External Monitor is detected, but black

    My monitor was working perfectly this morning. I left for lunch and came back to a black screen. I've tried installing updates and the hdmi cord, but nothing has fixed this.

    The monitor is detected, as I can drag windows over to it. It's just black. Any suggestions?
