Windows 10: Monitors will not turn off/Screen saver won;t activate

Hi guys. I have been trying to get my monitors to shut off so I don't get a burn in on my screens. I can't seem to figure out what is causing them to stay on. I tried enabling a screen saver which won't turn on and I also tried making a keyboard shortcut to turn off the monitor with a cmd command. Whenever I use the shortcut the monitors go down for a second and then pop right back on. I read somewhere it could be my mouse or keyboard causing it to stay awake, but I don;t think this is the problem seeing as it was fine on windows 7. Can anybody help me out?

windows 10 screen saver doesn't work

Disabling the whiteboard under HID solved the problem. Thanks for the solution. From my view point, I think it is somehow associated with a touch screen monitor. Now I have a HP touch screen monitor and the screen saver would come on if the monitor
was turned off. The screen saver would continue to work after turning it back on until a key was depressed or the mouse was moved. I'm pretty sure the screen saver would work if the USB cable for the touch screen monitor was disconnected. I have a HP laptop
with touch screen monitor with Windows 10 and the screen saver works just fine on it.

You probably have "battery saver ON"...Nokia Music is application that won`t download anyything if battery saver is turned on even if you have internet connection on (data or wi-fi)...if this is not your problem than I don`t know what is it...

Since going to Win 10 I have the same problem and have traced it back to my game controllers which are plugged into a USB hub. When I unplug the hub from the computer the screen saver and screen off works fine. Good luck.
