    Here is a link to a comprehensive list of all commands that can be used in Command Prompt

    Whether you are using a PC or laptop, does not matter, the commands are the same for both devices . . .

    Basically, you should never have to use Command Prompt, unless you are having difficulty with your Windows installation. Command Prompt can then be used to troubleshoot and possibly repair your Windows System
