    Most Windows Apps not working after a recent Windows 10 Update


    Hi I was already having Windows 10 on my PC which is a ASUS machine just two years old. Recently Microsoft prompted me to update my OS saying that the version that I was having will not be supported beyond November 2019.


    The Update was successfully installed on 07th August 2019 version 1903.


    However post this update I have not been able to launch the Native Applications that came as part of the PC like Windows Mail, Photos, Weather, Microsoft Store etc.


    I searched this forum, ran the Windows Update Trouble shooter and also followed some steps mentioned by some of the experienced forum members, but still it is not working.


    I tried to do the stuff which one particular member called @Vijay_verma mentioned in his detailed step by step method including copy pasting some commands in the Power Shell Admin prompt, but it hasnt worked, what can I do to get these apps working including Windows Store

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Weather App not working windows 8.1

    I have no problems with the weather app... on my pc, tablets, laptops, or windows phones.
    Must be regional/local problems.

    Or, your store/app data files may be corrupt.
    Might want to try the apps troubleshooter.
