    Mounting Volumes for the Blackberry Playbook


    I have used a Blackberry Playbook for years to watch videos at the gym. Some time ago, following a Windows 10 update, I was no longer able to access/mount the internal volumes. As such, I can no longer transfer videos from my computer to my playbook. I have tried all suggestions I could find on various forums with no success. Is Microsoft deliberately preventing access to the Playbook platform or is there a work around to gain access.

    Blackberry Playbook won't connect to Windows 10 64bit laptop

    No Longer Connects:

    I occasionally use an old Playbook for backup, but today I find my laptop refuses to connect due to

    a security issue that Windows flags up (Playbook using a dated security protocol or something long those lines) Mounting Volumes for the Blackberry Playbook :( .

    It used to work OK, even without use of Blackberry's Desktop Manager, but Fall update seems to have bricked.

    Pop up says contact vendor to obtain new s/ware for the Playbook;

    RIM no longer support the Playbook; is there any way I can restore some form of connectivity?
