Mouse Grabs File Name if Left in Place too Long

When I try to save a download file to a specific folder, and leave the mouse in one place too long (a split second,) the mouse grabs that name and changes the name of the download to the name of the existing file. This forces me to cancel the save and start again.
How do I change the mouse hover grab existing name speed?
    Thanks!

  2. Extracting Zip Files

Thanks pyramid10 for your contribution, I ensured that the steps taken and the source and destination folders were the same, in the using zip7 as suggested by BunnyJ resolved all issues for me.
I am the first to admit that I am a long long way from understanding the intricacies of computers and if truth be told I am now to old anyway to absorb much information.
    Cheers.

  3. Can't open or rename file (name is too long) WTF?

    Thread necro...

    When in doubt, use CMD.

    1. Run CMD
    2. Use CD <path> to navigate to the directory where the file exists.
    3. Use the DIR command to get the list of files. DIR will likely abbreviate the ridiculously long named file with NAME~1.
    4. Use the MOVE <source> <destination> to give the file a new name. For example: move "NAME~1" "MyShortName"

    6. PROFIT!

CMD is always the answer. *Wink Mouse Grabs File Name if Left in Place too Long ;)

    Extracting Zip Files

Are the step-by-step processes identical? That is, the folder extracted from and the folder extracted to belong to the same hierarchical file system structure. If they are, that suggests mildly the Cumulative Update left an electron or two out of place.
