Windows 10: Mouse is lagging in Windows 10

I recently built a new PC. At first everything was fine but then my mouse cursor started lagging. I tried all the fixes I found on Reddit and Youtube etc. The only thing that helps is when I start Windows in safe mode. So i resetted my pc completely but this didn't help either. The only thing that fixed it is the mouse trail. But on the slow motion video you can still see the lag a lil bit but it's not noticeable. I tested it in a few games and it is the same as with mouse trail on. So here I have Videos With mouse trail on, off and in game.

And the list with all the things I tried.

• Updating the drivers from the mouse
• Changing the mouse settings
• Another mous
  
• New Windows Installation

My setup

• Ryzen 5 5600X
• RTX 3070
• ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Mainboard
• 970 EVO Plus 1 TB NVMe M.2 SSD
• Windows 10 Home version 10.0.19042

The thing is I don't know what exactly caused the problem but i think i did a Windows update before the problem popped up. I don't have any other idea what i can do. So if anyone has any idea please tell me.

Lagging Mouse in Windows 10

There are multiple trial and error steps that are in links:

Evaluate each of these in the off mode and then return to the on mode:

1) Turn off fast start up:

Mouse Lag!?!

Basically what it does is remove the mouse acceleration in XP. The mouse will feel slower at first, but eventually you'll get used to it... the only reason why I suggested the mouse fix was because mouse acceleration sometimes causes the sensation of having a laggy mouse (laggy meaning responding slowly). If you meant lag as in jumping around and generally not being responsive, then I guess you'll need to wait for more suggestions *Smile

I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue. I suggest you to install all pending Windows updates and check. Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

• Type Mouse and Touchpad Setting in Search and hit
  Enter.
• Change settings as per your requirement; click on Advance mouse options.
• Change settings under Buttons, Points, Pointer options, Wheel.
