Windows 10: Mouse keeps on freezing and p-ssed

So this happened just yesterday and my mouse suddenly just freezes and stopped working. I've tried so many solutions in YT, and even Microsoft but none of this worked. My mouse takes a while to work back. I keep on thinking to myself that should I buy a new one? And also it's a hp mouse. Help me

Mouse cursor keeps freezing

• When does the mouse freeze?
  
• Are you using a USB mouse or touchpad of laptop?
  
• Since when are you facing this issue?
  
• Are you aware of any changes made on the computer recently?
  

However, you can try updating the mouse driver and check if that resolves the issue. Follow the steps from the article

In some instances, your mouse may keep on freezing if there are some pending updates on your Windows 10 PC. We suggest you install available Windows updates and check if that helps you. If the issue still persists, you may run
Hardware Troubleshooter Drivers.
