Windows 10: Mouse making whine sound after upgrading to Windows 11

    Mouse making whine sound after upgrading to Windows 11


    I don't understand what has caused this to happen but now whenever I use my mouse it makes a high pitched whine sound, frequently too which is just driving me mad. I have tried different 2.4 wireless mice, bluetooth mouse, usb wired mouse and usb-c wired mice.The sound isn't coming from the speakers either. My laptop is "HP Pavilion Gaming 15.6" Laptop PC 15-ec1001na, AMD Ryzen 5, 8GB RAM, GTX 1650, 256GB SSD, FHD, Shadow Black".

    1070 whining sound

    That's really unusual and suggests that your issue is beyond just GPU coil whine. If anything running games at high fps by lowering the settings should make the coil whine even more noticeable.

    I lowered everythin even tried to do 30fps cut in nvidia settings i still got whine, high low fps doesnt matter it still there only its less noisy when with capped fps.

    Ok guys I just checked my 1070 on friends PC there was no Whining sound or display interference/flickering. So it was PSU after all *Frown Mouse making whine sound after upgrading to Windows 11 :( need to buy new one probably now. Any decent PSU for one GPU +SSDx1+soundcard that I can trust and will be more or less coil whine free from your experience. For another year or so *Smile Mouse making whine sound after upgrading to Windows 11 :)

    I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Mouse making whine sound after upgrading to Windows 11 :p
