Windows 10: Mouse wheel sensitivity in specific apps

Hello!


Is it possible to change the nouse wheel sensitivity for different apps, or is there a global setting only?


I'm asking because if you have your mouse wheel set to scroll for example 10 lines at a time, when you have any kind of app or small window which has a scrollable portion within that's lower than your mouse wheel settings, scrolling will skip some lines.

So if the window/scroll portion has 5 lines, A, B, C, D, E or whatever, scrolling once skips to J or something.

Whenever I need to use an app that has "small" scroll windows, I need to manually change the mouse wheel settings...

• Click on Start.
• Go to Settings.
• Select Devices.
• On the left pane, click on Mouse & touchpad.
• Select Additional mouse options.
• Go to the Wheel tab to adjust the scroll speed of your mouse wheel.

How to adjust your Mouse Wheel Sensitivity in Windows 10.

I know what the problem is, the mouse wheel is overly sensitive and is something that is known about this model and others as well and something that you would think they could have a setting of adjusting at the OS level as the main workaround I see is people
stuffing little pieces of paper between the mouse and the wheel to make it firmer.

My main purpose here isn't to ask for a hardware fix as the hardware is working properly just with a sensitive wheel. My purpose was more or less a feature request to allow people to adjust the sensitivity of their mouse wheel which neither Windows 10s nor
the Keyboard/Mouse suite specific to this mouse offers to adjust.

I have had the device over a year now.
