Moved OS to new drive, do I need to re download everything even if they are on my other drives?

I recently moved my OS to a new NVME drive, and I noticed I can't find my usual programs which are located on some of my other drives. Do I need to reinstall them? or is it a matter of the drives' letters being moved around?

    Moving OS to New Drive

Hey everyone. I know this has been answered plenty of time but I need some help on this. I want to move my W10 Pro OS from my M.2 hard drive to a new SSD. I'd like to move the whole drive to a new drive though so nothing will break. I have some programs
installed on it including several other things but everything downloaded and documents are all on my second drive. Is this possible?? Can someone help me out please Moved OS to new drive, do I need to re download everything even if they are on my other drives? :).

Or is it possible just to start over on a whole new drive with a clean OS with W10 Pro, unless something gets screwed up by a productkey .

New computer - how to move OS to new (larger) drive?

    Hi all,

    • I got a new computer a few days ago.
    • Its startup drive is a 250gb SSD and it has a 1TB standard drive. It has Windows 10 and is working fine...
    • However, I have a 1TB SSD I'd rather use as my primary drive. It's from my old computer and has Windows 10 installed.
Is it possible to "move" or reinstall the current OS on my 1TB SSD and use that as the startup drive?

Regarding methods, I've seen a lot of different info all over the place, so thought it might be a better idea to ask here...

    thanks
