Windows 10: Movies & TV App closes after a couple of seconds

I'm having troubles with the Movies & TV app closing after I try to open a file - it'll sometimes bring up the title but will soon just close. I've tried Reset through Advanced Options, uninstalling and reinstalling, checked my regional settings, reset IE11, cleared temp files, ran DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and SFC /scannow no issues and none of it has worked. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Movies & TV app not working properly.

Hi,

I suggest you to un-install and re-install Movies & TV App and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key.
• Type Windows Powershell.
• Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
• Type in the following command to un-install Movies & TV App.

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage

Note: The Movies & TV App can be reinstalled using the Store App or by following the link mentioned below. You will need to exit the Store app if it is already open before reinstalling the app.

Movies & TV/Minesweeper Closing by themselves

Whenever I try to open Movies & TV or Minesweeper, they open up for a couple of seconds and then just close by themselves. If I try just opening a show that I've already downloaded it still closes by itself.
