Windows 10: Movies & TV will not play the movies I have paid for.

But, you know, I am already signed in...otherwise how could I possibly be looking at the movies I have paid for on the "purchased" dashboard. And...I have signed out and signed in again (& again, & again.....7 again)...but to no avail.


So...I AM REALLY ANGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Movies & TV app not working properly.

Hi,

I suggest you to un-install and re-install Movies & TV App and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key.
• Type Windows Powershell.
• Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
• Type in the following command to un-install Movies & TV App.

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage

Note: The Movies & TV App can be reinstalled using the Store App or by following the link mentioned below. You will need to exit the Store app if it is already open before reinstalling the app.

DTS audio is not playing on Movies&Tv

A DTS audio file format is not supported by the Movies&Tv app which is why you're unable to play it. To better assist you, we suggest that you visit this

link. From there you'll see all of the file formats being supported by the Movies&Tv app.

Movies & TV app

Until today I have been able to play videos from a memory card with the Movies & TV app. Now when I attempt to play one I am asked how I want to open it and Movies & TV is not listed in options. I tried Windows Media player but had no luck. What has changed
and how do I get back to the app (Movies & TV) that was working prior to today?
