Windows 10: moving MSFS20 to a different drive?

I bought MSFS on steam and chose my f: drive (HD) - OS Win10 for the installation
everything works fine, but now I would like to move it to my e: drive (SSD)


the only info I found was this: "from Windows settings from the start menu, go to apps. Find the app you want to move, click it, click move, choose new location"


when I do this, it doesn't give me the option to move, only to modify (grayed out) or to uninstall.
Is there any other way to move the installation, or do I have to uninstall and reinstall with the entire download again?

• Which programs are you referring to?
• What is the status when you try to install it in D drive?

I suggest you to uninstall the programs and reinstall it. Browse and select the installation path for the program to D drive and check if it helps.

Windows apps can't be moved to different drive.

Optical Drive Issue

Here's mine after I rt clk'd on my Documents Folder like you show in Scrsht 11:




I'd like to wait until you reply to my question in Scrsht 12, if it is a remnant of the process try deleting the one on the dsktp and see if the one in send to also disappears. If it stays in send to, test it, and if you're still having problems I'd suggest you could go back to: Option One: To Add or Remove Items in Send To context menu for Your Account (current user) and do Step 3 to remove it and start over using Step 4 but be very careful of your steps in creating the shortcut and be sure you d&d that shortcut to the send to part of the address.

I'm busy today and I probably won't be back until the evening.
