Windows 10: Moving single files W10 Pro 64bit

Hello, So I open a photo folder to view a photo album. I want to move some of those photos to another album. I left click on a photo in say row 3 to select that photo. I then hold down the button above the control button (with the Up arrow), if I then click on a photo in the next row down (for instance) it selects every photo in between. I am sure my laptop never used to do that. Can anyone advise me how to fix this problem please.

I am a long time W10 Insider.

I had a Gateway NV79 running W10 Pro and it bellied up with on board battery issues and is non functional.

I want to move that Pro License to another W10 machine running home.

unable to upgrade to W10 pro 64bit

i have just bought a new short computer all execpt new hard drives i ended up wiping 1 of my hard drives but would only install 32bit windows 7 so i then upgraded to W10 32bit i have since bought a new graphics card as the on board graphics wasnt powerfull
enough the problem i have is that i need the graphics card to download the 64bit W10 but i need W10 64bit to download the driver for the graphics card can anyone help me please
