  1. Moving Windows 10 from one ssd to another

I have two SanDisk SSD 120GB in my computer. I am running out of space and the one that boots up (with Windows OS on it) is dying.

    1) How can I see what is on each individual SSD? I have everything backed up and there was very little on the two SSDs to begin with.

    2) My plan was to just take out the dying SSD and boot my computer from the Windows 10 USB I originally bought with OS and install on the SSD that is doing fine. However, I am getting the error that says "The upgrade option isn't available if you start your computer using Windows installation media." What am I doing wrong?

PS I will also be installing a larger SSD to keep my games, files, programs etc. Also, I know there are ways to clone SSD using other software, but I'd rather go this route if possible.

    :)

  2. Move Windows 10 from installed hdd to installed ssd

If you want to move it from hard disk, system image or cloning would be your options:

Choose system image if the SSD is equal in size or larger than hard disk:

    Choose cloning if its not:

    OR

You can remove the hard disk, reinstall Windows 10 directly to SSD, reattach the hard drive and format it.

to download official Windows 10 ISO files

    Step 2:

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
