    I would like to know why a mp4 presentation on my website can not run on edge browsers and runs with no problem in other browsers. I have checked the setting and looks everything ok, even I have tried in different pc's but the problem persist. Please help me since I would like to get exposure in all browsers.

    Does Edge show in the Google "Recently used devices" list as "Safari 537.36"?

    According to this list of Edge user agent strings—reproduced below—the answer is yes: If you see a user agent string such as Safari 537.36, you might be using Edge. Why “might?” Read on…

    As for why this is done, my head is still spinning from my basic research, but according to this Pro Webmasters post as well as this blog post, it seems like Microsoft Edge developers are attempting to get Edge to be recognized by apps that “sniff” user agent strings as a “modern browser.” Thus the “Safari/537.36” and “Chrome/39.0.2171.71” seem to be declarations or browser capabilities and compatibility.

    So for all intents and purposes, Edge is desperately saying, “Hey! I’m not Internet Explorer! I can do cool stuff like other modern web browsers!”

    And here are those headache inducing Edge user agent strings.

    Windows 10 Edge Problems - Will Not Access Sites Chrome and Mozilla Will - "Security Err" Prompt

    I just installed Windows 10. Both Chrome and Edge would not access some common sites such as Bloomberg, various major airlines, my school, etc. Mozilla - no problems.

    Then I tried the suggestion of resetting my clock by toggling back and forth on the various settings and then re-booting. Now Chrome is working just fine again and accessing all such common sites as those mentioned above.

    But Edge still does not work properly. It will go to major news sites and such, but renders "security certificate error" with many sites that I know are just fine and can access via Chrome and Mozilla.

    Should I delete and reload Edge?
